Lasallian Excellence Awards 2020 goes online

On September 11, 2020, exemplary Lasallians students and faculty members that showcase  the Lasallian light will be recognized through the Awards Night to be held at a Zoom conference.

Every year, the Lasallian Excellence Awards (LEA) represents a longstanding legacy of excellence passed down through generations of Lasallian leaders throughout the history of the university. It acts as a celebration of genuine service by organizations and individuals, guided by the Lasallian principles of faith, service, and community. LEA showcases Award Giving Bodies honoring Lasallian leadership through giving back to the community and empowering Lasallian leadership in the pursuit of excellence.

This year’s LEA is centered on showcasing the light from within. Among the members of the Lasallian community, these are the ones who most exemplify the Lasallian light and ultimately manifest the true meaning of a Lasallian achiever for God and country.

The celebration of LEA in previous years was a week-long event filled with talks and seminars from other esteemed Lasallian leaders. The Awards Night capped off the event, with the recognition of inspiring Lasallian organizations and individuals. However, due to logistical limitations and required safety precautions due to COVID-19, the Awards Night will push through as an exclusive Zoom conference.
