Madonna’s IG post gets flagged for spreading misinformation

What is up with Madonna?

The pop star recently posted a video about a supposed conspiracy theory related to COVID-19 and it was flagged by Instagram for spreading misinformation.

The post, which was eventually taken down, shows several unproven claims about the coronavirus. Madonna captioned the viral video with “The truth will set us all Free! But some people don’t want to hear the truth” and goes on to say that authorities are actually hiding the cure for the new coronavirus.

Earlier in the week, US President Donald Trump also tweeted the same viral video, which was subsequently taken down by Twitter as well.

This is not the first time Madonna posted weird stuff about the coronavirus. Back in May, she posted a video as part of her ‘Quarantine Diary’ where she said “I took a test the other day and I found out I have antibodies, so tomorrow, I’m just going to go for a long drive in a car, and I’m gonna roll down the window, and I’m gonna breathe in the COVID-19 air.”

We’re not entirely sure, but it seems Madonna is a like a virgin when it comes to coronavirus information.
