BLACKPINK’s’ JENNIE on her ‘leg injury’

Incredible talent, passion, determination, and work ethic⸺these are some of the ingredients that make a k-pop star. But being dedicated to your craft can also lead to overworking yourself too much.

This was what happened to BLACKPINK’s Jennie, when she shared recently on her Instagram account how she got injured.

“During our time off, I was exercising a lot. Jisoo warned me not to go overboard. But one day, after finishing Pilates, I felt like it wasn’t enough. I wanted to sweat more so I started running on a treadmill,” she said on the video.

“This is so stupid that I don’t even know how to explain. So basically, I was running and I tripped on myself. On my ankle. And now, my ligament hurt,” she added.

However, the k-pop idol reassured her fans that the injury won’t affect BLACKPINK’s comeback at all.

“It’s been a few weeks so I’m already much better. It won’t affect our comeback at all.” she said.

It seems Jennie can still hit you with the DDU-DU DDU-DU, broken ankle and all.
