Girl in a jacket

This company sells a variety of corsets for men who want to achieve an ‘hourglass figure’

Whether it’s all about living up to society’s beauty standards or doing it for their own happiness, there are countless reasons why some people would always want to look good. Unfortunately, there are some who would resort to taking extreme measures, like going under the knife, just to look beautiful.

But there are other times when make-up or wardrobe essentials can help accentuate your best facial features or even your body figure. As a matter of fact, Puerto Rico-based corset brand Innova Corsetry sells corsets designed not only for women but men, too.

Corsets for men are actually not new. During the 18th and 19th centuries, men used to wear corsets for their form-fitting trousers and jackets.

This new corset seller makes them especially custom-made for buyers with their exact measurements and based on their desired color, fabric, and design. Since all of their transactions are online, customers need to provide a downpayment before they can process the order, and are requested to fill out a measurement form.

Custom orders are produced and delivered between 6-9 weeks, depending on where the client lives.

Online users who saw the sample photos obviously had some mixed reactions.

An Instagram user said that “This is what I speak of in products. When you create your passion and get the chance to make your brand. No doubt it will be the best,” while another one pointed out that if you use them for a long time, you’d end up having back support.

But seriously though, we don’t know how to feel about this.
