Porn company offers ‘unusual care package’ to performers who shoot videos from home

The imposition of the COVID-19 community quarantine has led to the cancelation of classes, re-scheduled examinations, and business closures. But, quite possibly, the biggest change many of us have experienced during this safety measure is the shift from office work to the work from home scheme.

Since many companies have adopted this new setup, a lot of people are stuck at home–finding new ways to balance work with a way to entertain themselves. With regards to the latter, many individuals have tried to learn new recipes, listen to podcasts, and explore the world through digital travel.  Others, however, chose to entertain themselves another way by watching pornographic films. In fact, according to the report of India Today, web traffic for adult videos surged by 95 percent during the implementation of home quarantine last March. The countries with the highest online sessions include India, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States of America.

Given the increase of viewers during this community quarantine, Los Angeles-based porn company Vixen Media Group decided to introduce fresh content to their viewers. And to do this, they provided equipment and props to their performers, so they can continue to film in the comforts of their own homes.

Porn actresses are set to receive the “unusual care package” that reportedly costs $250,000 (Php 12.6M). This box of “goodies” includes cameras, ring lights, toys, and lingerie for the entertainers to use to film their content.

Speaking to VICE, Vixen Media Group Director, Kayden Kross said, “Beyond creating unique content, the true goal of this initiative is for us to offer an opportunity of substance, both creatively and monetarily, to the performers during such a volatile time.”

The new videos will be featured in the company’s brand new series entitled “Intimates”.
