Propose to your ‘Kirby’ lover with these adorable engagement rings

From iron and gimmel to diamond, wedding ring trends have certainly evolved over the years. Compared to what brides wore during the 16th and 17th centuries, modern-day wedding bands are more diverse, stylish, and unique to match the couple’s individualized taste. Speaking of which, there now exists a Kirby-themed wedding ring for soon-to-be grooms who (aside from being a sucker for Nintendo games) are eager to “combine powers” with the love of their life.

Nintendo fans know that the video game company has a penchant for creating iconic and powerful characters—and Kirby is one of them. Apart from its obvious cuteness, our protagonist here also has the ability to combine his powers with other characters’ skills, making him two times tougher than the rest!

In case you’re ready to settle down with your partner in your own Dream Land, Japanese jeweler U-Treasure is currently selling two main ring designs:  Fountain of Dreams engagement ring and Star Rod wedding band.

Inspired by a “sacred site” that has appeared in many Kirby games, this particular ring symbolizes the couple’s “dreams streaming from the fountain.” A tiny version of the Star Rod, a magic wand aka power source that endows inhabitants of Dream Land with good dreams, is also embedded into the band.

The Fountain of Dreams ring comes in five variants: 950 platinum, 925 sterling silver, 18-karat white gold, 18-karat yellow gold, and 18-karat pink gold.

Meanwhile, the Star Rod wedding ring serves not just an emblem of eternal love, but also the manifestations of dreams. According to grape, the designers hope that Kirby will grant couples “the power to fulfill their wishes together.” Unlike the abovementioned engagement ring, this item is decorated with additional diamond side stones.

When it’s time to “seal the marriage,” the Japanese jeweler also offers a Twinkle Star-Ring pillow to give your wedding ring a stylish platform to sit on.

Brides, who are solid fans of the Kirby series, will surely swoon over these intricate, diamond-studded rings.
