UP Manila Chorale presents ‘Reise: Mixed Voices in Manila’

The University of the Philippines Manila Chorale (UPMC) is the multi-awarded official performing group for choral music of the University of the Philippines Manila, presently led by its music director, Lorenz Edward S. Sarrondo. The group aims to embody and represent the University locally and internationally through the art of choral music, serving as ambassadors of cultural goodwill by being the “Voice of UP Manila to the World”. In 2018, the UPMC travelled to Germany through Patrick Schauermann, a conductor of multiple German choirs.

The UP Manila Chorale will be hosting the Mixed Voices in their first Philippine tour entitled Reise: Mixed Voices in Manila. Mixed Voices is a group of Hessian choirs led by music director Mr. Patrick Schauermann. A total of 32 singers will be traveling to sing in Manila, to experience Philippine culture, and to share the culture of Germany.
