Mimiyuuuh’s ‘vocalizinationism’ has paid off as she becomes Waze’s voice option

From being an online sensation to becoming a luxury brand model, 23-year-old Mimiyuuuh has once again unlocked another achievement! Earlier this week, Twitter users discovered that aside from Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, the traffic navigation app also features Mimiyuuuh as their newest voice option. This is part of an online marketplace’s promotion for its upcoming year-end sale.

On Instagram, Mimiyuuuh shared a video of her voice recording for the said app. In the caption, she wrote:
yuOr LOcq4l j3j3 gHuÖrl is now a Waze gHorl!! Super thank you po @lazadaph for this opportunity. Hindi ko po talaga naimagine na I’ll be the next Filipino voicer sa waze, VOICER? Next to Catriona pero I don’t really see any difference with us two. XHNZ! Hope you guys would enjoy this project po as much as our team enjoy making it. HUWAW!!! Go download my voice po sa Waze! Labyu guys!”

Last September, Waze crowned Catriona Gray as their first Filipino celebrity to become a voice option in the app. Gray’s traffic directions include funny lines such as “I’ve always taught myself to look for the beauty in it; Maybe there’s something in this traffic, too,” and “Congestion reported ahead: It’s time to practice our slow-mo walk.”

But for Mimi, it will be more extra (So sorry, Cat) as she will be helping us navigate the road through her kulot pronunciations.

With her voice in the app, drivers can now SKRRT to their respective destinations! Proud of you, Mimiyuuuh!
