Catherine Zeta-Jones and her daughter Carys Douglas have been captured enjoying a girls’ trip to Rome by Fendi.
The Welsh actress and her daughter, 16, are the latest stars of the Italian fashion house’s #MeandMyPeekaboo series, featuring its Peekaboo bag.

The duo are documented dancing, giggling and strolling together against the sun-drenched backdrop of the Italian capital, all the while wearing or holding their luxury bags.
“Such a wonderful time shooting for @fendi in Rome with @carys.douglas,” Oscar winner Zeta-Jones wrote on Instagram, where she has 2.9 million followers. Douglas, who has 100,000 followers, captioned one image “Dancing through the summer.”

“I’m lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with my mother,” said Douglas in a statement posted to the Instagram account F is for Fendi. “She has taught me all the ins and outs of life but also to have fun and cherish every moment.”

Previous stars to have been part of the #MeandMyPeekaboo series include Kim Kardashian in 2018, along with her daughter North West and her mother Kris Jenner. Sisters Clara and Esther McGregor, who are the daughters of the actor Ewan McGregor, also took part in the campaign last year. CL/JB
