‘LSS’ bagged the most awards during the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2019 ceremony

Although the week-long celebration of Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) is still running, the winners were already announced during the “Gabi ng Parangal, Pagkilala, Pasasalamat (The PPP Awards Night and Thanksgiving Celebration).” The ceremony was held last night at One Esplanade, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. 

26-year-old actor Martin del Rosario won Best Actor award for his portrayal of Daniel, the sweetest among the Panti sisters; while film veteran Angie Ferro took home the Best Actress award for her performance of “Lola Igna”, the 118-year old woman with a death wish.

LSS, which stars real-life couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos, won the most awards including “Best Supporting Actress,” “Best Original Song,” “Best Sound Design,” “PISTAPP Audience Choice Award,” and the “Special Jury Award.”
