Eco-conscious rider in China teaches litterbug an important lesson on throwing trash
When it comes to throwing trash, people are always reminded to be responsible. Because, oftentimes, the garbage you throw out will come back to you.
The sad reality is that many of us continue to dispose of our garbage along the streets, without even worrying about the consequences of it.
According to Conserve Energy Future, there are more than 250 million pieces of waste generated every year. And each piece of trash you toss in the streets or along the highway will eventually lead to the pollution of the Atlantic Ocean – as the accumulated pieces of litter will soon be dumped into the sea and cause negative effects on marine life.
However, it is difficult to stop people from being litterbugs – and such can be seen in this short video that went viral on social media recently.
In the video, viewers can clearly see the passenger inside the car throw trash along the streets of Chaoyang District of Beijing, China. But, right after the incident, a girl riding on a motorcycle parked her vehicle, picked up the piece of garbage, and threw it back at the passenger inside the car.
The motorcyclist later drove away and the female passenger in the car was left shouting angrily.
Soon after the video’s release, netizens praised the motorcycle rider for teaching the woman a lesson about littering.
The video is a wakeup call for everyone to stop dumping their trash just anywhere. This is a major concern in our country as well as many others, hence, everyone is encouraged to practice proper waste disposal. And in doing so, we can create a better place to live in before it is too late.
