UP PhotoS Steps Into a New Chapter with ‘YUGTO’

Each chapter unfolds different moments and events, made to feel a spectrum of experiences and emotions, leading to make a story whole.

UP Photographers’ Society presents YUGTO, an exhibit showcasing the organization’s craft through the photographs of its members, or Litratistas, through the years. UP PhotoS has been producing photographers who have been constantly developing and enhancing their knowledge and skills in the art and science of photography for almost fifteen years.

YUGTO is a free and open moving photography exhibit which will be showcased at the New College and Sciences Lobby, College of Development Communication Lobby, and Student Union Mural from November 6 to November 14, 2018, in the University of the Philippines Los Baños. This exhibit takes pride on presenting each Litratistas’ best photographs of diverse genres. Litratistas are composed of students and alumni from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, coming from different courses and colleges, who are united through their interest and passion in photography.

This exhibit is a major activity of UP Photographers’ Society or UP PhotoS, the premier photography organization in the University of the Philippines Los Baños. The organization also conducts activities such as photography seminars featuring famous photographers in the country, photography workshops intending to educate its participants about the still media, and outreach programs aiming to give back to the community.
