Aside from the Presidential election that is being held every six years, beauty pageant is another event that doesn’t just bring people together, it also makes you feel like you’re missing half of your life if you haven’t watched the live streaming of the coronation night.

The FOMO is real!

Since beauty pageants have become one of the most awaited competitions in the country, expect Filipinos to be all over the Internet — waiting for updates and of course, glam shots!

Glamour shots are meant to be sexy and appealing, right? That’s why candidates are expected to be wearing stunning dresses and “dramatic” makeup in the photo.

However, Argentina’s representative for Miss Universe 2018, Agustina Pivowarchuk, changed how a glam shot should be done. Compared to her fellow candidates, Miss Argentina 2018 seems like the only one who wasn’t wearing any makeup in her photo.

And of course, Filipinos always take this opportunity to show how quick-witted we are as a “nation.” Here are some of the funniest or wittiest comments on Miss Argentina 2018 photo:

When Miss Argentina 2018 showed all us what “woke up like this” really means

When your mom asked you to pose for the camera

When they suddenly asked you for a 1×1 picture, but you’re a natural beauty so…

When your friend suddenly clicked the camera, but you weren’t ready yet

When you’re like the “salingket-ket” in the competition

Lastly, when you have to hold “it” in but picture taking is life

Whatever the reason behind Miss Argentina 2018’s “effortless” glam shot, one thing is for sure, she still looks gorgeous AF.
