South Korean R&B Artists DEAN and SAAY are coming to Manila for a show on DEAN’s birthday, November 10

Solo artist DEAN is finally coming back to Manila this November 10, for a one-night only concert at the New Frontier Theater (formerly KIA Theatre), this time bringing with him South Korean singer-songwriter, SAAY.

DEAN started as an underground rapper. He ventured into songwriting under the name Deanfluenza, and even composed songs for popular K-Pop groups around 2013. Some of his works include EXO’s “Black Pearl” and “Unfair,” and VIXX’s “Voodoo Doll.”

In 2015, he debuted as a singer in the United States with the track “I’m Not Sorry,” which features Grammy award winner Eric Bellinger. In the same year, DEAN released songs in Korea such as “I Love It” featuring rapper Dok2, and “Pour Up” featuring BLOCK B’s leader ZICO.

DEAN’s first EP “130 MOOD: TRBL” was released a year after. DEAN also worked with various Korean stars including Girl’s Generation’s Taeyeon, and several solo artists such as Heize, Crush, Zion T., Dynamic Duo, and Lee Hi, among others. His 2017 track “Instagram” also received immense success, as it placed #1 in Korea’s music charts.
SAAY – came from a musical background, she first entered the Korean music industry as part of a girl group called ‘Evol’ in 2012, but she never gave up on her dream to become a solo artist.

Come 2013, SAAY was able to focus on her career as a songwriter and producer and eventually wrote four songs for Henry (of Super Junior) when SM Entertainment expressed interest in SAAY’s songwriting talent. In 2016, SAAY finally signed as a solo artist to Universal Music Korea.

DEANTRBL X SAAY is the DEAN’s second event in the country, his first visit was during his DEAN 130 MOOD: TRBL Philippine Promo Tour back in August 2016.

What makes his second visit extra special is that November 10 also marks DEAN’s 26th birthday! And Filipino Rebels can definitely celebrate with DEAN this year!

Tickets are available via Ticketnet outlets and online at www.ticketnet.com.ph.

DEANTRBL X SAAY is presented by MCA Music.
