IN PHOTOS: Filipinos had the ‘purr-fect’ time at Hello Kitty Run Manila 2018

Last September 30, Hello Kitty fans of all ages gathered at Civic Drive, Alabang, for the Hello Kitty Run Manila 2018.

As early as 4 am, these participants assembled at the venue to prepare for the race. Each of them immediately packed their valuables in the Hello Kitty fanny packs, deposited their backpacks, and displayed their love for all things Hello Kitty.

At around 5 am, the first wave of participants gathered at the starting line to prepare for the run. Before they were able to start the 5-kilometer course, they were greeted by Hello Kitty herself. After making her appearance onstage, the race began for the first wave of participants.

This was then followed by the second wave of participants, who also ran under a flurry of pink and white confetti.

After finishing the course, the participants then proceeded to the redemption area, where they claimed their exclusive Hello Kitty medals.
