NJZ’s parents accuse HYBE Chairman of sabotaging group’s independent activities

NJZ’s parents have accused HYBE Chairman Bang Sihyuk of sabotaging and interfering with the group’s upcoming events at ComplexCon in Hong Kong.

NJZ HYBE CEO

Not too long ago, NJZ has been experiencing controversial issues with their former company. Last November 2024 in a press conference that was personally held by the group, they expressed their intention of leaving and not returning with ADOR and HYBE after the mistreatment and actions they have encountered, it was the group’s ultimatum to step back and start anew.

Followed by countless of acquisitions and information ever since the group’s dispute with the company, they surprised fans and social media users with a major independent comeback and rebrand as ‘NJZ’ – making it a fresh and new start for them as mentioned in an interview with CNN. After which during the said interview they will be performing in ComplexCon in HongKong with their new name, songs, and many more.

With recent development in the ongoing case and independent group activities, the parents of the members of the group have spoken up about accusing Bang Sihyuk (HYBE Chairman) of interfering with the group’s upcoming activities. Allegedly saying that Bang Sihyuk personally contacted industry leaders of ComplexCon on canceling the performance of NJZ. That has sparked the concern of the group’s parents criticizing major Korean music organizations around the world siding with agencies rather than artists.

ADOR has responded by stating that they have not obstructed anything against the group’s events and has clarified as well that Bang Sihyuk has remained silent and out of connection with any leaders involved in the industry.

Despite the ongoing allegations and acquisitions both parties are experienced, NJZ is set to dominate the ComplexCon in HongKong for the AsiaWorld-Expo in March.
