Online streaming giant, Netflix, proceeds with the air of a talent discovery series featuring the late Liam Payne as one of the judges.
Former One Direction band member, Liam Payne is set to be seen on screen for the upcoming talent discovery series, ‘Building the Band’ which was filmed last 2024 before his tragic death on October 16, 2024.
According to the report, Liam wrapped up filming the series summer of last year (2024), but after his sudden death, the post-production of the series came to a halt because of the shocking news which led to the doubting of cast on how the future of the series will come about.
The series follows Backstreet Boys’ Aj McLean as the show’s host– judges, Liam Payne, Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls member), and Kelly Rowland (Destiny’s Child member) scouting for the next upcoming boy band. The show’s objective is to create a boy band that has music compatibility, connection, chemistry, and merit.
Even with setbacks before airing, Netflix now confirms moving ahead with the series wherein they will be paying a tribute to Liam on the debut of the show’s episode.
