Disney’s ‘Tangled’ live-action confirmed, fans share their top picks for the cast

Hit movie franchise ‘Tangled’ is reportedly the next Disney movie to get a live-action remake.

The studio is in the works on developing the hit animated musical movie from 2010.

It can be recalled that ‘Tangled’ had an Oscar nomination for its song ‘When Will My Life Begin,’ which inspired spinoffs, such as the 2012 short film ‘Tangled Ever After’ and the 2017 TV series ‘Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.’

Various social media users from X (formerly known as Twitter) already placed their bets on who they want to play the hit film franchise’s protagonists, Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder.

Tons of X users suggest that ‘Espresso’ hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter would be the perfect casting for Rapunzel.

A lot of social media users also said that One Direction star Zayn Malik and ‘Red, White, and Royal Blue’ star Taylor Zakhar Perez would be a great Flynn Ryder.

“Not only does zayn’s face and hair play the part but he would sound magical singing i see the light,” a social media user said.

Some also suggest ‘Agatha All Along’ star Katherine Hahn would be a great casting for Mother Gothel.

While casting is yet to be announced, the live-action film is reportedly will be directed by Michael Gracy, the filmmaker behind the hit 2017 film ‘The Greatest Showman.”

Gracey made his directorial debut with 2017’s “The Greatest Showman,” the P.T. Barnum biographical musical drama starring Hugh Jackman.
