The University of the Philippines Academic League of Chemical Engineering Students, Inc. (UP ALCHEMES) proudly announces the return of ChEckBoard, its premier chemical engineering licensure exam primer, scheduled for September 21, 2024, at the UP National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP NISMED) Auditorium. Open to chemical engineering students nationwide, ChEckBoard 2024 marks a significant return to a face-to-face format after years of virtual and hybrid iterations. This year’s return to full onsite operations reaffirms UP ALCHEMES’ unwavering commitment to equipping aspiring chemical engineers with the essential skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the licensure exam, providing them with an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with industry experts and peers.
Now in its 15th year, ChEckBoard 2024 carries the theme Expanding Futures, reflecting the continuous growth and the pursuit of opportunities beyond the undergraduate experience. ChEckBoard serves as a platform where members of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Chemical Engineering, along with recent topnotchers of the licensure exam, will share vital insights. These sessions will cover examination rules, effective test-taking techniques, and key guidelines to help participants navigate the challenging exam with confidence. In addition to the core exam preparation content, ChEckBoard 2024 will also feature relevant company talks, booths, and professional networking opportunities, further broadening the scope of support available to future engineers.
This year, ChEckBoard is proud to partner with Petron Corporation, whose involvement adds even greater value to the program.
