On June 18, The Black Label agency declared, “Producer Teddy and artist Rosé, who have worked together as a producer and artist for a long time, recently signed a management contract with The Black Label based on their deep trust in each other.”
“Please look forward to the best synergy between The Black Label, which promotes artists’ freedom of activity, and Rosé, who has a unique musical color,” he continued.
In the meantime, Rosé is getting ready to release new music to a global audience and intends to continue performing live with international record labels.
For those unfamiliar, Teddy Park and Kush, producers, founded THE BLACK LABEL, a South Korean record label, in 2015. Currently, Jeon Somi, Taeyang of BIGBANG, Zion.T, Park Bo Gum, the star of K-dramas, and numerous other Korean artists are signed to the label. THE BLACK LABEL has been in the news recently because they plan to launch their first girl group in 2024.
Teddy Park, the label’s founder, has collaborated with the members of BLACKPINK on several occasions in the past. Actually, Rosé had said once that he was basically the fifth member of the girl group.
Rosé has been quite busy at work since leaving YG Entertainment in December 2023 to pursue solo endeavors. She has participated in numerous brand events and photo shoots. Regarding her musical career, the completed vocalist took part in the signals song “Final Love” by I-LAND 2. Earlier this year, she had also hinted at a new song and shared photos from a recording studio.
