Moving up photo of Agusan National High School student holding Palestine flag goes viral

Amidst the darkness cast by relentless bombings, a picture of hope emerges.

This was the sentiment shared by many social media users upon viewing the Facebook photo uploaded by Agusan National High School.

In this image, under a post captioned ‘ANHS Completion Ceremony 2024,’ students were seen wearing white uniforms, their smiles stretching from ear to ear as they concluded the 2023-2024 academic year.

However, apart from celebrating the students’ success, what many social media users celebrated was the student with eyeglasses proudly holding the flag of the state of Palestine.

In the comments section, many praised the student for being aware of pressing humanitarian issues, expressing hope for a brighter future when a child like him stands up for what is right.

This outpouring of love and support comes from Palestine supporters regarding the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, which has already claimed the lives of many individuals, including innocent and powerless children.

Despite the acclaim on social media, the school has not issued a statement regarding the support they are receiving, nor has the student’s name been revealed.

Just recently, an AI generated image with signs “All eyes on Rafah” has also gone viral.

This template reportedly circulated among 44 million social media users, primarily on Instagram, aiming to raise awareness following Israel’s attack on Rafah. The area served as a refuge for Palestinians displaced from Gaza, which also faced bombardment.

Tragically, this event resulted in the loss of numerous civilian lives.
