Unsung heroes of botched ‘Willy Wonka Experience’ arise despite being put in a bad light

Talents from the Willy Wonka-inspired event in Scotland have largely been cast in a bad light following the event’s failure, after photos of them without context started making the rounds on social media. The talents have been bearing the full brunt of it all, as people online have been sharing unflattering photos of them.

However, the talents, who played Oompa Loompa and The Unknown, have started earning praise from social media users for their performance throughout the event, prompting them to unmask themselves online.

Felicia Wishes who played The Unknown posted a video on TikTok, revealing her identity to everyone proving that she played that character.

“Hello. I’m Felicia. I’m 16 and I am the Unknown. First of all, I am a girl. Sorry to disappoint. Second of all, this is actually my real hair. It is not a wig. Third of all, don’t worry, I have proof that I am the real Unknown,” she stated in the video.

She then proceeded to show pictures of her playing the character and gave a little tidbit about her experience.

Oompa Loompa, the character played by Kirsty Paterson, also posted a video on TikTok sharing her experience at the Willy Wonka Experience. She said that she is a very private person so much to her shock when her pictures blew up online and people calling her “a 50-year-old method” did not sit well with her.

Despite its failure, they still gave their all to give the best experience for the kids and their families who attended.

On a different note, not only were the families have been scammed but also the talents got tricked as none of them knew that this was going to happen on the day of the event.

Social media users are now coming to their defense online as they share their thoughts about the whole situation.

Regardless of what happened, it’s nice to see that people can still deeply show their empathy and kindness for others and see the silver lining in terrible situations.
