Kween Yasmin’s attempt at spoken word poetry, ‘Esophagus, Esophagus,’ hyped by Filipino internet

The self-proclaimed singer, dancer, actor, and songwriter, Yasmin Marie M. Asistido, also known as “Kween Yasmin,” continues to entertain her supporters through acts, including acting, singing, and performing “spoken word poetry” with uncanny wit.

The influencer is currently trending with her “on-the-spot spoken word poetries,” more specifically, the “Esophagus, Esophagus” that Filipinos just couldn’t stop laughing with, and at.

Kween Yasmin debuted “Esophagus, Esophagus” during her guest appearance on the Spotify podcast “The Koolpals” in the episode titled “#595: The Kween Yasmin,” alongside Roger Naldo back in December 2023.

Her masterpiece tells the significance of the esophagus. It also emphasizes the importance of caring for the organ.

The impromptu spoken word poetry spread across various social media platforms as fans and enthusiasts humorously and sarcastically hyped it.

Aside from the hype, “Esophagus, Esophagus” also garnered various reactions from users who got to listen to the poem.
