Graduate with ‘Aunor’: Student takes graduation humor to another level

Filipinos always have a way of lightening the mood with humor (and we’re all here for it!) just like this graduate from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC). Netizens are charmed by Nathanael Kris Pontillas when he marched his way up the stage for their most awaited graduation ceremony last July 4. He is seen holding a tarpaulin of multi-awarded actress and Philippine cinema’s “Superstar” Nora Aunor.

The post showing the student with Nora Aunor’s tarpaulin on stage immediately garnered attention online

In a recent radio interview, the Mechanical Engineering graduate expressed his “tradition” in bringing humorous surprises to such school events.

“Weeks before ng graduation ay ang dami na nagsasabi na aabangan daw nila yung gagawin ko sa graduation. At ang naisip ko na gagawin ko ngayon ay simple lang, “Graduate with Aunor.” he shares.

He reveals that he got his inspiration from a Facebook photo where Aunor was edited into a graduation photo with the caption “Graduate with Honor.”

Pontillas shares that he is naturally a person who likes to make people laugh with his antics.
