Another Katipunan Ave. gem will be waving goodbye by the end of the month.
The Katipunan Ave., Quezon City branch of Pan de Amerikana Bakery and Restaurant will permanently close its doors by June 30, 2023. The bakery and restaurant is known for its facade which bears the iconic upside down red jeep and houses.
The restaurant serves baked goods such as Pandesal, Pan de Coco, Ensaymada, as well as Filipino dishes like Sinigang and Sisig. Apart from the dining experience, customers are also treated to a visual experience, with the restaurant’s quirky aesthetics.
Patrons of the restaurant are expressing sadness over its impending closure:
Those who still want to experience the bakery and restaurant’s food and interiors can still visit Pan de Amerikana’s Marikina City branch, which has a larger space than Katipunan’s.
