Yikes! Bad publicity is still publicity, right? Jason Marvin Hernandez, the ex-husband of Moira dela Torre, released the music video for his new song ‘Ikaw Pa Rin,’ featuring clips from their wedding, and netizens are nothing but disappointed.
The lyrics of the song pertain to his “love” for his estranged ex-wife while being in a new relationship, uttering the words “Alam ko naman na meron nang sinisinta, ngunit naiisip ko parin ating nakaraan.” (I know I already have a lover, but I still think about our past)
Prior to the release of the song, Hernandez shared on his Instagram a photo of a ‘mystery girl’ hugging him from behind wearing a cap. Netizens were quick to notice that the girl is wearing a wedding ring similar to Dela Torre’s – leading people to believe that they’ve been back together.
Another photo was posted with the ‘mystery girl’ spending time with him in Horse Shoe Bend Canyon Arizona with the caption “Siya ang nag ligtas sa’kin, ang nagbalik ng aking ngiti,” (She’s the one who saved me, the one who brought back my smile) on Monday, May 22, a year after Hernandez confirmed that he and Dela Torre parted ways after he had been unfaithful to her during their marriage.
However, with the release of the music video, it turns out that these are all just marketing stunts to promote his new music. The ‘mystery girl’ was revealed to be his co-actor in the music video, whether it is his new lover or not, netizens are angered at him for using Dela Torre:
