Harry Styles new MV for ‘Satellite’ features the love story of a little robot named ’Stomper’

British singer, songwriter, and actor Harry Styles dropped the music video for his song ‘Satellite’ on Thursday, May 4. This video features the journey of a little robot that various reports confirmed was named “Stomper.”

It is said that its name originated from the term “satellite stomp,” after the singer’s iconic dance moves.

In the music video, the vacuum-like machine is cleaning the floor backstage during one of Styles’ concerts. This robot sees a Mars rover named ‘Curiosity’ being shown on the television. The MV then goes on following Stomper on his journey to find the said rover.

The robot later travels on its own, beginning with the concert of the famous singer. The music video shows how the robot reaches different places, from city roads to far, desert-like locations. The robot brings the entire music video in its adventure.

The video ends with Styles and the robot both lying on the grass while the two gaze at the stars at night. The little robot eventually dies after its batteries run out.
Satellite is one of the 13 songs in Styles’ album called “Harry’s House”. It was named ‘Album of the Year’ by this year’s Grammys.

Other songs in the album include “Late Night Talking,” “Daylight,” “Daydreaming,” and “Love Of My Life.”

Fans rejoiced the release of the new music video. Here are some reactions they had on Twitter:

It seems like the little robot also captured the hearts of fans as some of them became sad after its battery died at the end of the music video. Fans expressed how the ending made them sad on Twitter.
