Last Sunday (16), Jackson made history by being the first solo Chinese artist to perform at Coachella’s main stage. As a place for some of the biggest global stars, the event hosted Jackson Wang’s thunderous performance featuring the pop star Ciara with a surprise remix of XG’s ‘LEFT RIGHT.’
On 88rising’s “Head In The Clouds Forever” stage, Wang performed his biggest hits and featured the pop icon, Ciara. The American singer performed a medley with her smash hits and surprised fans with an original remix of the hit ‘LEFT RIGHT’. The new version brought elements to the song that made and unique moment.
After the iconic performance, XG entered Twitter’s trending topics. The b-side, released after the mega-hit “SHOOTING STAR,” made history by entering the radio ranking in the USA, the ‘Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart’. Besides staying on the ranking for seven weeks, XG was the first Japanese girl group to do so.
On April 7, the group released a remix of “SHOOTING STAR” featuring the American rapper RICO NASTY. Now, XG’s fans flooded social media with enthusiastic comments about Jackson Wang’s and Ciara’s concert and a possible release of an official “LEFT RIGHT” remix.
April brought more moments on the path that XG has walked towards success, including the documentary ‘XTRA XTRA’ which follows the group’s five-year training journey until the official debut.
