‘Endless Summer Vacation’ memes flood Twitter as Miley Cyrus announces new album

It’s a brand new year, and Miley Cyrus is kicking off 2023 with a lovely surprise for her fans—a new album!

On January 5, the “Party in the U.S.A.” hitmaker took to her social media accounts to unveil her eighth studio album titled “Endless Summer Vacation,” which is available for streaming on March 10. The album, according to Billboard, is described as Cyrus’ “love letter to L.A.” and will also display the singer’s confidence after “focusing on her mental and physical health.”

Cyrus also teased the album by revealing its cover art, which features the singer clad in a black unitard while hanging from a trapeze.

The global pop star had been teasing her new project for a few weeks now with a series of posters appearing around Los Angeles. She then confirmed that new music is coming right after she announced that she would drop the album’s lead single, “Flowers,” on January 13, the same day as her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth’s birthday.

In a separate post, Cyrus revealed a teaser video for “Endless Summer Vacation,” where she’s reciting a cryptic dialogue.

Of course, Smilers (Cyrus’ fandom) are elated to hear the news. Although they haven’t heard the full album yet, Cyrus’ fans already took to Twitter to rave about “Endless Summer Vacation.”

Some fans also took notice that Cyrus’ album will drop the same day as Lana Del Rey’s ninth studio album release, titled “Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd.”

And not only they’re dropping an album on the same day, but both of them are releasing their singles on their ex-boyfriends’ birthdays.

What a queen move, we stan!

Others, on the other hand, flooded the bird app with “Endless Summer Vacation” memes as they poked fun and made different versions of the album’s cover art. And so, the memefication of Miley Cyrus’ new album has begun.

“Endless Summer Vacation” comes over two years after Cyrus’ released “Plastic Hearts” in 2020. While the tracklist is yet to be announced, Cyrus will be reuniting with her “Bangerz” collaborator Mike Will Made It. “Endless Summer Vacation” will also be produced by Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, and Tyler Johnson.
