South Korean singer, performer and actor Do Kyungsoo shows a different kind of charm as he completely transforms into Jin Jung in the upcoming television series “Bad Prosecutor.”
Do Kyungsoo just made his much-awaited solo debut last year with a mini album entitled “Empathy” that really caught listeners’ hearts with his dominant yet heartwarming vocal prowess. This year, as he prepares for multiple acting projects, Actor Kyungsoo is back on the small screen for his first acting role as the “Bad Prosecutor.”
“Bad Prosecutor” is a new South Korean television series that revolves around a prosecutor named Jin Jung who has bad manners and is delinquent, hence the title. As a prosecutor, he breaks sanctuaries formed by wealth and power and even takes down covetous people living in those sanctuaries. Do Kyungsoo seems to have eagerly accepted the challenge in bringing fans exactly what they had hoped and waited for regarding his new project. Apart from its peculiar story, the actor also went through a thorough makeup transformation to achieve his character’s look, which also became a hot topic on social media. In the series, Do Kyungsoo has brown and curly hair, tanned skin and wears a smirk all the time that makes his character remarkable.
Truly, acting has always been second nature to Kyungsoo, as ‘Bad Prosecutor’ isn’t his first foray into acting. As an idol, he has always strayed from the stereotyping that K-pop idols can’t act. Aside from having starred in famous and well-awarded films and dramas, he has also already won several acting awards despite having no formal acting training.
At first, fans were expecting for the usual prosecutor role for Kyungsoo, and even had imagined him in a prosecutor’s suit, so his look was quite a surprise for fans.
