Internet personality Andrew Tate banned everywhere, releases ‘Final Video’

Popular social media figure and self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate is in big trouble. He has been recently banned from several major social platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.

If you’ve never heard of the man known as Andrew Tate, let’s give a quick background. Tate was a kickboxer back in Europe in the early 2000s. He also became a guest in the 17th season of the British version of Big Brother. He recently rose to popularity early this year in 2022, with many clips of him talking about women or success going viral on social media, especially on Tiktok.

So why was Tate banned from multiple websites? It is because of his ridiculously offensive takes on multiple topics, especially his anti-feminist and just plain anti-women views. He’s a blatant misogynist and is the absolute representation of toxic masculinity. To prove my point, here are some of his craziest quotes.

Girlfriend’s OnlyFans

When asked about what Tate would do if a significant other would start an OnlyFans, he says this: “I don’t think there’s anything intrinsically wrong with women doing OnlyFans, as long as I had influence and control over it.” When asked to clarify what that means, he says, “I’m not doing any real work, but just like taking all the money.” He then goes on to say that if his “chick” would do OnlyFans, he’d have to get 80 percent of her earnings, because his woman is “his product.” It goes without saying that thinking your significant other is a product is plain gross.

Female Pilots

To express his views on gender roles and sexism, Tate gives this hypothetical situation: “If I were to get on a plane, and that plane was to fly into the eye of a hurricane and there was a 50 percent of it crashing, I’d want a male pilot because I think males are better under stress and under pressure. I think they’re less likely to get emotional in a life or death situation.” He then goes on to say that is the truth, and speaking that “truth” doesn’t make him sexist or misogynist. We all know that this is ridiculous of course. If your pilot is a professional and licensed, then we trust that pilot and hope they can keep the people on the plane safe, regardless of gender. They had the proper training to handle high-stress situations, whether male or female. To make his point even worse, Tate bases his “truth” on personal experiences. Man is delusional. At least this opinion of his has spawned a hilariously dumb Tiktok meme.

Authority over Women

In this interview, Tate finds that if a man is responsible for a woman in a relationship, then he should have a certain amount of authority. To expound on his point, he makes a rather ugly analogy: “In the same reason, if I have responsibility over a child, I’d have to have some authority.” Even worse, he basically compares a woman to a dog: “You can’t be responsible for a dog if it doesn’t obey you.” Then he says more crap: “Let’s think a beautiful sports car, a house, land, whatever. Whatever I’m responsible for – I have to have a degree of authority over.” A relationship with a significant other is not about authority. You don’t treat your partner like a child, a dog, or a freaking sports car. Relationships are give and take, equal. It’s a companionship, not a dictatorship.

There are just many more horrible things Andrew Tate has said online. You can see it for yourself basically anywhere because even if Tate has been banned on a lot of online platforms, his content has been reshared many times by his fans and followers. Sadly, there are many misguided people who eat up his words and treat them like the gospel, especially younger preteen males who are extremely vulnerable to twisted worldviews.

After all his bans, Tate has gone on Vimeo and posted an hour-long “final message” for the public to see and hear.

He tries to defend himself by saying that many of the clips that people see (especially on TikTok) have been taken out of context, making him out to be the “face of evil.” The thing is that he never really apologizes for speaking his “truth.” It’s okay Andrew, we won’t miss you.
