BLACKPINK showcases the group’s iconic charisma in ‘Pink Venom’ MV

Taste that PINK VENOM. This track is just a slay.

BLACKPINK has finally made their return to the K-Pop music industry after releasing their track, “Pink Venom” on August 19, 2022 at 1 P.M. KST. This pre-release single is a prelude to their upcoming 2nd studio album titled, “Born Pink” that is slated for release on September 16, 2022.

Prior to the song’s release, YG Entertainment unveiled the group’s “Light Up The Pink” campaign, where several of the world’s famous landmarks were lit up in pink. Amazing.

“Pink Venom” is a hip-hop track combining sounds from traditional Korean instruments (geomungo) with strong beats, highlighting BLACKPINK’s charismatic vocals and rap with their signature powerful presence.

BLINKs were all waiting in anticipation for the group’s pre-release single and were so quick to catch the track’s music video as soon as it dropped. Afterwards, they all raved about it on social media, bringing almost all topics related to BLACKPINK and “Pink Venom” to the trending list.

However, not every BLINK was impressed with how the song turned out, churning out their frustrations towards YG Entertainment’s in-house producer, Teddy Park. Just see the Tweets right here.

Anyway, no matter what anyone says, this song is a banger and nothing will change that. Will we all have “Pink Venom” on repeat this weekend? Yeah, same here. Some good ass-shaking music if you ask me.

BLACKPINK will always be iconic.
