‘One Punch Man’ Season 3 announced with a new visual teaser

After three years since we got One Punch Man Season 2, our favorite overpowered hero Saitama will be returning for another season of top-tier battles! While there aren’t many details yet, the official One Punch Man Twitter and website released a teaser visual for the upcoming third season.

We first saw the One Punch anime in 2015, which was produced by Studio Madhouse. It received incredible amounts of popularity between anime fans and even non-anime watchers alike. Literally, everybody loved the first season of One Punch Man for its consistently high-quality animation and endearingly unique superhero story. Season 2 rolled around in 2019 and a different studio, J.C. Staff, worked on the production. The story was still great, but a drop in the quality of animation, direction, and even sound design made One Punch Man Season 2 something that not everyone was fond of. There is still no news about Season 3 and whether or not a new animation studio will be taking over production.

The One Punch Man anime directly adapts a webcomic created by a man called ONE. He started writing the One Punch Man webcomic back in 2009. ONE is a fantastic storyteller who knows how to frame his comics well, but he isn’t exactly the greatest at drawing and line work. Thus, mangaka Yusuke Murata has been remaking ONE’s webcomic with his own interpretation of the artwork and has been releasing a manga in Young Jump. Just look at the picture below and see the difference between ONE’s art (left) and Murata’s art (right).

Anyways, we are all excited for season 3 of One Punch Man. Manga readers would say that Saitama’s story and the whole world in One Punch Man will be further explored in the next arc, and some even consider the next story arc to be one of the best in the manga. Let’s wait for more details about One Punch Man season 3 and hope for the best!
