The person hired for the job, called a “sleep tester,” will adapt to erratic sleeping patterns similar to those of programmers and employees who work night shifts. The sleep tester will produce a report on the quality of sleep, give feedback, and suggest ways to improve it.
According to Chinatopix, the job requires no prior experience; the “love for sleep” will do. Workers from all industries are encouraged to apply.
