The Matrix Resurrections, the fourth installment of The Matrix film series, had its U.S. red carpet premiere on December 18. The cast came to the premiere and served looks in their stunning red carpet attire, but one stood out in particular – Carrie-Anne Moss, who portrays Trinity in The Matrix film series, paid tribute to the series in a custom Oscar de la Renta gown.

Fans are raving over Moss’ red carpet look – a black pleated silk chiffon gown complete with a cape and draping. But what really caught the fans’ attention was the detailing on the skirt of the gown.
Trailing up from the hemline, the dress had a series of green and silver sequins carefully lined up to resemble the Matrix code, one of the film series’ most iconic visual elements. The Matrix code is a trail of green digital numbers and symbols but for Moss’ look, “Oscar de la Renta” can be found stitched among the sequins and beading on the hemline.

I don’t know about you, but I think Carrie-Anne Moss definitely understood the dress code (heh, get it?).
