Cartoon Network drops trailer for ‘We Bare Bears’ spinoff series

Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear’s baby versions are getting their own series. Cartoon Network recently dropped a trailer for We Baby Bears, the upcoming spinoff series of We Bare Bears.

We Baby Bears will be a prequel to the main series and will show the journey that the baby bears have been through before settling down in their cozy cave in the main series. The prequel will follow a similar plot line to the baby bears’ stories in the main series — the baby bears will set out to look for a place they can finally call home.

The baby bear trio will go on adventures while traveling in a magical box, exploring different worlds and meeting new friends while on the search for a place where they can settle down. On their journey, the trio will travel to many different places and will be given instances wherein they can choose to stay, but the baby bears will eventually learn that “home” can be anywhere, as long as the three of them stick together.

The original series went on for four seasons, starting in 2015 and wrapping up in 2019. The bear trio made their last appearance in the 2020 film We Bare Bears: The Movie. A BAFTA Award-winning series is about three bear brothers trying their best to fit in and make friends in a big city. While the bear trio is somewhat familiar with the modern world, the brothers still struggle to fit in, often leading to misadventures.

The bear trio’s baby versions have also had their appearances in the main series, with their episodes usually focused on the siblings trying to either get adopted or to find a place where they can permanently live together as a family. The characters have had their own share of misadventures in the main series as they look for a place to call home. Now that they’re getting their own spinoff series, fans can look forward to learning more about the bears and the adventures that eventually led the brothers to the big city.
