The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary – University of Santo Tomas Chapter (UAPSA-UST Chapter), a duly recognized student organization of the United Architects of the Philippines, will be having an event entitled, “UAPSiglaw: A Glimpse of the UAPSA Life” on the 16th of October 2021 (Saturday) through MS Teams and Facebook Live from 02:00 PM to 05:30 PM.
The UAPSiglaw: A Glimpse of the UAPSA Life aims to introduce the members to the life inside the organization including its ideals, mission, and vision. The event will feature 2 speakers with enough experience and great contributions to the organization, and how it influenced and affected their awareness in both the branches of architecture and leadership. The assembly will also focus on building relationships within the members of UAPSA-UST via games and breakout rooms that encourage and establish communication.
The 1st speaker is Zion Enrico Licup, he is a senior architecture student from the University of Santo Tomas – College of Architecture. He started his involvement in UAPSA-UST as an Executive Associate to the Vice President for Programs and Development – serving as Organizing Committee for various events in the Chapter. He is also the first Community Development Director for UAPSA-UST, serving simultaneously as the Chief of Staff to the National Treasurer in 2019.
This has paved the way for his role as a member of the National Board of Directors as the UAPSA National Auditor for the past fiscal year. He is currently the National President of the United Architect of the Philippines Student Auxiliary. The 2nd speaker is Ernest J. Nieva, who was a consistent active officer in the organizations inside the college. He served as a Logistics Executive Associate for the UST College of Architecture Student Council along with being an Executive Associate to the Chapter Vice President for Operations under UAPSA-UST during the School Year 2018-2019. After that, he stepped up and became the Chapter Vice President for Operations the next school year, 2019-2020. Finally, during his fourth year in college, he was able to become the Chapter President for UAPSA-UST, School Year 2020-2021.
