Nonstop is an upbeat pop track inspired by high energy and the adrenaline rush coming from doing live shows. The thumping beat and fun melody allows Nonstop to be a track that’s light-hearted and not to be taken too seriously. Nonstop is a high energy show time that transports us back to the time where we could experience live music!
We created Nonstop over eight sessions back in 2019. Sam took the lead on this and wrote it as well! It’s a flex tune, which is fun and not to be taken seriously. The lyrics do not represent how Sam actually feels! I hope people understand that. We created this during 2019 at a time when he was doing lots of shows, so it came from that kinda energy. It feels great to finally be releasing this one nearly 2 years after we made it. I think Sam was hesitant because the lyrics can come off as a bit pretentious and he is one of the kindest and most humble people I know, but we managed to convince him that it’s a light-hearted, fun song which is what people need right now. We all miss the energy of live music, and hopefully this song will bring people right back to that peak moment concert energy that Sam is so good at delivering.
