For months now, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused mass cancellations of tours, concerts, and festivals in the country and the world. Despite this problem, some artists and events team have remained determined to connect with fans through live streaming.
Legion Music Festival appears to be one of those who joined the trend as they live streamed some of their artists from their home such as Because, Magnus Haven, ena Mori and One Click Straight using the event’s Facebook page these past few months.
Since then, they’ve launched their official Youtube channel weeks ago and it was just last week that they announced Kyline Alcantara as the performer for their first major online concert, LEGION ON BOARD.
You may now watch your favorite artists performing on stage while you are just sitting inside your home. As per the organizer/show director Marvin Caldito, they will rent a venue with great lights & sound system and professional live streaming equipment. The venue will be exclusive only for the staff and artist and will not be open for public viewing.
The target date will be on June 5, 2020 and will be streaming live using Legion Ch, 4PM onwards.
The main purpose of the show is to support not only one but two Charities, Love Plus Charity Foundation – A foundation that helps fight the covid-19 by donating food packs to different communities and PPEs to our frontliners and CRIBS Foundation, Inc. – A non-profit organization that provides a loving and safe environment for the abandoned babies and female minor survivors of sexual abuse.
