Social media app Tiktok gained immense popularity in recent months as the go-to platform for sharing self-produced videos. Much like its predecessors, the app has produced its own social media stars. One of them is 16-year-old Norwalk, Connecticut native Charlie D’ Amelio.
D’Amelio has over 57.2 million followers on Tiktok and has since been hailed as the “Tiktok Queen.” With all eyes on her and on her posts, it’s no surprise that she would also get noticed by fellow celebrities–the latest is none other than Justin Bieber himself.
In one of D’Amelio’s Instagram Live posts, Bieber commented with “Please check ur dm when ur done ur live. THANKS” and the Tiktok star, being a self-confessed Bieber fan, said “That’s a joke. That was a joke. Please tell me someone screenshotted that.”
Throughout his career, Bieber is known to have been doing random acts of kindness and reaching out to fans the world over. It was reported that when the two stars finally messaged each other, Bieber asked if she was okay and if she would be willing to do a birthday greeting for his 12-year-old sister Jazmyn, who’s a big fan of D’Amelio.

Aside from D’Amelio, Bieber contacted other stars like Spiderman’s Tom Holland, Kylie Jenner, The Weeknd, Camilla Cabello, Shawn Mendez, and Billie Eilish to do the same.
Awww, what a sweet big brother.
