Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour / Final Installment Halsey Live in Manila 2018 with special guest Niki

Getting ready to close off the whirlwind of a cycle that it’s been, Halsey has announced the final installment of her massively successful Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour. The GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum songstress will now be making her way to Australia and New Zealand, Latin America, North America, and then Southeast Asia, following earlier runs of Halsey’s biggest tour yet.

PULP Live World is proud to announce that this last stretch of the World Tour includes a date in the Philippines. The Manila leg of the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour / Final Installment will be taking place on August 10, 2018 at the KIA Theatre. It will be Halsey’s very first time playing in the country, much to the excitement of her ardent Filipino fans who have been hoping and waiting to see her live since as early as 2014.

It was in 2015 when Halsey released her first studio album, BADLANDS, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with close to 100,000 copies sold within the first week of its release. BADLANDS followed her EP Room 93, which she released in 2014—the year she signed with Astralwerks Records. With singles such as the previously released “Ghost,” “New Americana,” and “Castle,” BADLANDS saw Halsey reaching and enticing a much wider audience beyond Soundcloud and Youtube where she started out.

But aside from her own material, others know Halsey as the captivating voice accompanying other outstanding artists’ hits. This includes Justin Bieber’s track “The Feeling” off his award-winning album Purpose, and, more notably, The Chainsmokers’ smash hit “Closer.” The latter earned her and the EDM-pop duo a GRAMMY® Award Nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Moreso, on her own, she continues to rise as an icon. In June 2017, Halsey released her second full- length album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. With songs like the double-platinum-certified “Now or Never” and “Bad At Love,” Hopeless Fountain Kingdom shows Halsey transcending creative boundaries and successfully building on the success of her strong debut back in 2015.

She recently graced the stage of Saturday Night Live with “Bad At Love,” also performing with G- Eazy on their Bonnie and Clyde-themed platinum-certified “Him & I”—a song which continues to dominate at the top of both Billboard’s Pop Songs Airplay Chart and Top 40 radio (marking the second No. 1 she features on since lending her voice to The Chainsmokers on “Closer”). She has also just released her new single, “Alone,” featuring the swaggering Big Sean and Island-trailblazer Stefflon Don. “Alone” surpassed 1 million streams on both Spotify and Apple Music in three days. In the US, “Alone” has been added to 90 Top 40 stations in its first week.

Not only has Halsey grown by leaps and bounds as a musician; she has also become a highly- regarded and empowered role model, expanding her influence and using her voice to speak about advocacies that matter. US non-government organization GLAAD gave her recognition by nominating her as Outstanding Music Artist. People also remember her for an impassioned speech at the 2018 Women’s March where she stood in solidarity with women fighting for equality.

In keeping with her advocacy for equality and empowerment, the Final Installment of the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour features support from a set of incredible, buzzing, and accomplished women artists. Joining Halsey for the Asian leg of the upcoming tour is NIKI, a rising R&B songstress from Jakarta, Indonesia, who is behind entrancing songs like “I Like U,” “Chilly,” and “See You Never.”
