On November 15, the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, joined by a lineup of talented artists, captivated the audience with a stunning performance of iconic hits during “A Night at Pops.”
The evening kicked off with Dylan Burton, who delivered a captivating opening performance. He serenaded the audience with a heartfelt cover of One Direction’s ‘Little Things,’ followed by his original song, ‘Hindi Pala Ako.’
The Manila Philharmonic Orchestra opened Act I with Mozart’s timeless ‘Eine Kleine Nachtmusik,’ before transitioning to the Queen classic, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’
In Act II, the audience was treated to the melodic voice of Barbie Almalbis, who performed Laufey’s ‘From the Start,’ Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ with Acel Bisa, and a special 25th Anniversary Orchestral Arrangement of ‘Tabing Ilog.’
Arthur Miguel serenaded the audience with a heartfelt rendition of Rey Valera’s ‘Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko’ and his own hit song, ‘Lihim.’
Jason Dhakal graced the stage with his soulful voice, performing Tony Bennett’s ‘The Way You Look Tonight’ and Sitti’s ‘Para Sa Akin,’ accompanied by the Manila Symphony Orchestra.
After an electrifying orchestral arrangement of K-pop group BTS’s ‘Dynamite’ in Act II, the much-anticipated band Lola Amour took the stage, performing ‘When I Met You,’ their hit ‘Fallen,’ and the iconic ‘Raining in Manila.’
The evening concluded with a special performance of ‘Torete’ by Acel Bisa, marking her final performance in the country before relocating to the Netherlands in 2025. The crowd joined in, singing Eraserheads’ iconic ‘Ang Huling El Bimbo’ to end the night.
