Broadcasting station SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) is under fire after a video circulating X (formerly Twitter) shows a security guard of the establishment yelling at K-Pop group Red Velvet member Joy outside the broadcasting station, trending #SBSRespectJoy on the platform.
In the video, it can be heard that the security guard is aggressively yelling at Joy to leave immediately as she was heading to meet her fans outside the broadcasting station after shooting for the SBS TV show “Animal Farm.”
You can see how disappointed Joy was when she was rudely asked to leave immediately without getting to greet fans properly☹️

Fans of the singer are saddened and angered by the incident, saying that the security guard’s behavior was disrespectful and unacceptable, whereas the situation could be handled better. Fans are also asking the broadcasting station to issue an apology to the singer.

joy & neither the manager got a proper advanced notice, what she got was getting yelled at. i think the situation could’ve been handled better as she’s been doing this ‘mini fan greeting’ for the past 2 years with no problems

yelling to ask joy to get back into the building was the rudest way ever. there is no urgency to yell at that situation. she just wanted to greet her fans, she even didn't move closer.

My heart is too weak for this, Joy and the fans doesn't deserve this.
