The UPLB Energy Forum is an annual event organized by the UPLB Society of Electrical Engineering Students (UPLB SELES), which is a duly recognized academic organization based in the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). The event serves as a platform for Electrical Engineering students, STEM students, and students from other related degree programs to learn more about the Philippine Energy Sector.
Now in its sixth installment, the UPLB Energy 2022 will return to the virtual stage on April 30, 2022 at 9 AM via ZOOM and livestream on the Official Facebook Page of the UPLB Energy Forum. With the theme, “Clean and Sustainable Energy Transition in the Philippines: A Comprehensive Discussion on Progress, Challenges, and Opportunities,” the objectives of this event are to discuss the country’s goal of achieving a cleaner and more sustainable energy, as well as the methods in doing so and its effects on the market. Relevant information and issues related to the Philippine Energy Transition will be tackled by respected speakers from various, public and private, national and international institutions. Additionally, all participants will have the opportunity to not only learn but also interact with the speakers by personally asking them questions.
