The trailer for sci-fi film ‘Dune’ reveals a promising franchise

Fans of sci-fi films like Star Wars, Blade Runner, and Star Trek will enjoy the new trailer for the upcoming action film Dune, featuring a star-studded cast and amazing action set-pieces.

Dune is produced by Warner Brothers and is set to release on December 19. This second adaptation of the bestselling book is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also directed some of the best modern-day sci-fi films including Blade Runner 2049 (2017) and Arrival (2015). Adapted from a novel of the same name, the first Dune movie was released in 1984 and was directed by David Lynch.

Dune is set thousands of years in the future and tells the story of a duke’s son named Paul Atreides, as he leads an army of warriors against the galactic emperor in the desert planet known as Dune.

The visuals on the trailer shows a lot of promise, and we can expect to see it bigger and better on the big screen.

If the premise doesn’t sell the movie enough, the cast surely will.

The movie stars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, and Dave Bautista.

A Q&A with some of the film’s cast was also released alongside the trailer.

The movie will also be split into two parts, the first of which will be released this year and the second which is yet to be announced.

While it is still very unlikely that we will go see a movie in cinemas anytime soon, Dune will surely test a lot of moviegoers’ patience till it becomes available for streaming.
