WATCH: Burj Khalifa lights up for grand gender reveal party

A couple took their gender reveal party to new heights with a light show on no less than the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

YouTube stars Anas and Asala Marwah learned that they are expecting a son after the tower lit up in a bright blue and flashed the phrase “It’s a boy!”

The couple posted a video of the event and how they prepared for it on their page on Sept. 9.

Anas and Asala made sure that they would only find out about the baby’s gender at the party by handing the results of the ultrasound to their friend without looking at them.

After a few days of preparations, they headed to an outdoor area by the tower to eagerly wait for the grand reveal. The couple was overjoyed when the 10-second countdown finally ended and the tower shone a bright blue.

Following the reveal, the tower also flashed a message of congratulations for the family. The Burj Khalifa’s official Instagram page later posted a portion of the reveal as well.

“The big news just can’t get bigger than this as the world’s tallest building lights up to reveal the biggest gender reveal ever!” it said.

Asala explained that they held the grand event in hopes of creating a lasting memory for themselves and their children.

“We wanted to do something unique and memorable so that we can all look at it in the future and remember what we built as a family,” she said.

Along with their upcoming son, the two also have a daughter named Mila, who they welcomed back in 2018.  /ra
