Titik Poetry to launch its first community library fundraising event ‘Sigya Conference: Mga Kwento ng Buhay at Pangarap’

Aside from performing spoken word pieces and conducting poetry class, TITIK POETRY will launch its first ever SIGYA CONFERENCE: MGA KWENTO NG BUHAY AT PANGARAP – A FUNDRAISING EVENT.

The event will feature speakers from different walks of life who will share their stories and inspiration through series of talks. Also, there will be performances from various artists. This was initiated for a cause of building a small community library in Bacoor City, Cavite. Sigya Conference: Mga Kwento ng Buhay at Pangarap will be on December 8, 2019, 1pm, at Green Sun Hotel – Makati.

PROJECT SIGYA, founded by Verlin Santos, is the advocacy side of Titik Poetry. This aims to help the community through various projects and programs in terms of art and education. Aside from the library that will be filled up with textbooks and other reading materials, Project Sigya will also help those youth in writing their own stories through workshops and classes.

This also comes with the partnership with the Barangay Molino IV headed by Brgy. Captain Jeff Campaña. Through Sigya Conference, we can gather and collect funds in order for us to make this small community library possible.

Project Sigya is also open for any cash donations, school materials, and books. For ticket reservations, you can message us on our facebook page: Titik Poetry or Project Sigya.
