UP Diliman Golden Z Club presents Paglaya: A Benefit Gig for the Female Survivors of Human Trafficking. The UP Diliman Golden Z Club’s mission is to promote awareness on women empowerment and encourage community involvement, and to organize projects and initiatives for gender equality. After a successful launch of the organization last year, this November 2019, they are celebrating their first anniversary along with the commencement of the anti-harassment month.
UP Diliman Golden Z Club will be capping off this month-long celebration with a benefit gig wherein all of the proceeds to be acquired will be donated to RENEW Foundation. RENEW Foundation is a Christian, international non-government organization housing female survivors of human trafficking and prostitution in the Philippines, and has long been empowering Filipino women and children.
The event will be held on a Friday, November 29, 2019, 6 PM, at Tipanan Café Lounge and Grill Bar, located at 123 V. Luna Ext, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
Not only will this help the Filipino women and children victims in RENEW foundation but will also raise awareness about the situation of our fellow Filipino women who have been victimized by the significant human trafficking activity and high levels of prostitution in the country.
In this light, UP Diliman Golden Z Club would like to invite everyone in their cause and join them in helping and empowering our fellow Filipino women in their fight.
Pre-order of tickets will be PHP 250. Walk-in price will be PHP 300. Each ticket will be complemented with 1 FREE Drink.
