Last November 18, Filipino Limelights gathered at the New Frontier Theater for the Philippine leg of the Why Don’t We 8 Letters Tour.

The American boy band composed of Daniel Seavey, Zach Herron, Corbyn Besson, Jonah Marais, and Jack Avery had fans excitedly singing and dancing to the beat of their songs. Initially donning black tops, they kickstarted the night with an energetic performance of their hit song “Trust Fund Baby,” which was written by Grammy award-winning singer Ed Sheeran.

The boys then proceeded to effortlessly sing their other tracks like “M.I.A.”, “Hard”, “Friends”, “In Too Deep”, “Just”,  and”Runner”. And before they went on to sing their next song, Why Don’t We showed concertgoers a video tracking the progress of their band, from their early days together to the moment “Something Different” premiered on the radio.

The band then proceeded to sing “Something Different”, followed by the songs “I Still Do” and “Taking You”–the latter of which happens to be the first song they released three years ago.

In between their lineup of the songs, Why Don’t We took time to thank their fans for coming out and supporting them in the concert. Daniel Seavey even said, “The fans here are crazy but the good kind of crazy.” They also thanked fans as “8 Letters” reached gold in the Philippines. Right after this, they requested everyone to huddle together for a selfie with the band.

They then proceeded with their setlist singing songs like “These Girls”, “Hooked”, “Talk”, “Cold In LA”, “Big Plans”, “Come To Brazil”, and “Unbelievable”. Not to mention, they also performed their hit song “8 Letters”, which caused fans to go wild.

Limelights, however, weren’t satisfied with the end of the show and continuously shouted, “We want more!” In reply, Why Don’t We returned to the stage and performed “I Don’t Belong In This Club.” They then closed the night with a message to fans saying, “Sorry, it took us long to get back here but I want to say something to you all–that dreams do come true.  And I know that because we’re living proof [of that],” before performing an acoustic version of “What Am I.”
