UPHSD Junior Marketing Association TAKES THE LEAD

The University of Perpetual Help System-DALTA Junior Marketing Association (JMA) is one of the 200 member schools across the Philippines with a membership of more than 40,000 marketing and business students belonging to the Philippine Junior Marketing Association. As the local chapter of PJMA, the organization’s purpose is to organize projects and services for the Perpetualite Marketing students that aim to improve their knowledge and skills and also maximize their career opportunities through joining the association and participating in its activities.

On September 10, 2019, UPHSD JMA holds their first General Orientation for this Academic Year. The event started at 2 in the afternoon, inside the Ernesto Palanca Crisostomo Hall at UPHSD- Las Piñas Campus. The event consisted of three academic talks headed by a Plant Director, a Restaurant Owner, and a Marketing Supervisor; all of which we believe will be enriching for all students. All three speakersMarketing officers from Don Filemon College and Polytechnic University of the Philippines Junior Marketing Executives were present to send their support to the UPHSD JMA officers who willingly invited and welcomed them as part of the event guests. Games and giveaways were prepared throughout the program which was provided by the organization’s event sponsors.

The event was sponsored by Nestea and GreenCross; the organization’s partners were also present to show their support namely, ElordePRO Boxing Gym, Follicles Salon, 364 MilkTea House, Precious Anne Nails & Spa, Coco Martea, and Black & White Garden Cafe all of which generously gave out sample products and vouchers to all the attendees.

All in all, the event was a success. With the JMA Officers organizing the event, CBAA students and partner schools’ attendance, the partners and sponsors, and most especially the three speakers who gave out wonderful and stimulating talks that enabled to impart new knowledge and learnings that can be used on our endeavors as future “Marketistas”, the cause of the event was attained.
